PLASTER CAST

Many fractures can be successfully treated in a cast. Casting requires immobilisation of the fractured part for a few weeks. The fractures near joint usually result in some stiffness of the joint. Physiotherapy may be helpful in regaining the movement.

Plaster care has to be followed strictly as advised by the doctor

There are three 3 types of cast which you can demand:

  1. Plaster of Paris Cast

  2. Coloured Synthetic Cast - Lightweight

  3. Waterproof Coloured Synthetic Cast - Lightweight

Each has its advantages and disadvantages.
